Chef Gormandaa (Star Wars) Custom Action Figure

Here is Chef Gormandaa, a whacky and brief character that appeared in the famous Star Wars TV Special. This is a rather sad custom, as it got lost during transit :( , so now I will have to make another one. Shame on you postal service! first registered I lost since starting on 2008. Anyway, a very complex custom to do; multiple arms, a lot of drilling, making kitchen accesories for 1:18 scale, making the cooker... just about everything was complex. But I'll try to improve it next time!

Jedi Temple Guard (Star Wars) Custom Action Figure

 I was asked to paint and assemble this 3D kit over a Mace Windu figure. What was going to be an easy custom turned out to be very difficult; even if the 3d creator recommended a Mace Windu, it was ridiculously inappropriate. Nothing fitted, tons and tons of sanding were needed, and even then some articulation was severely limited. If you are a 3d creator, check before recommending!

In the end it would have been better to use whatever figure EXCEPT a Mace Windu. Basically somebody much slimmer.

Battle Damage Darth Vader (Star Wars) Custom Action Figure

 Believe it or not, there is no proper battle damage Darth Vader in 6 inches. At least last year! so I was a bit puzzled by this petition. I was given all parts by the client, so it was quite straight forward. Lower arms are 3d printed, as is the head. The legs are from a Terminator. The cloak was done by the own client as far as I know, so kudos to him. And so voilá. I find a certain simplicity in making realistic, 6 inch custom figures.

Lord Hoth Star Wars custom figure

 This is Lord Hoth, a famous Jedi of ancient times. I tried to capture the essence of the comicbooks, his chunky, prehistoric, semi-medieval looks. Very happy how it turned out this one, although the design of the character itself is so different from the usual Star Wars style.

Here is another 6" Star Wars custom, this time Ren. I used a WWE wrestler to give him a bit extra bulk, and some soft goods to make it more Hasbro-esque.

Jedi Guardian Star Wars custom figure SWTOR the Old Republic

 This is the Jedi Guardian, a class of warrior in the videogame SWTOR. A interesting and cool design. Most complex was doing his hood and jedi robes, which I achieved using a special polyester fabric painted over for effects.

This is Jerec, as I was asked to do by a friend back in 2021. An interesting character. I used a Darth Maul head that I think suited him perfectly.

 

Yun Star Wars custom figure

Here is Yun,a character from one of the early Star Wars videogames. I was looking around and found a perfect Luke to make him over. Due to the scarcity of asiatic heads in this scale, I resorted to using Storm Shadow movie, heavily reduced which I think fits quite well, with a sort of light malice expression.

Senator Chuchi Clone Wars 3.75 custom figure hasbro

 

Here is another custom I've made lately, Senator Chuchi from the Clone Wars animated series. A challenge to do such detailed, slightly anime style figure in such small scale! but I am pleased with the results. Most complex was doing her sort of poncho, which had to be rounded, solid looking not wrinkly, and allow articulation. Recipe; Ahsoka casted head, Ms Marvel Marvel Universe figure.

Zayne Carrick Star Wars Jedi KOTOR custom figure

Here is a custom I made recently of Zayne Carrick, for a good friend. I used a Obi Wan Kenobi with a clone head modified. For the lightsaber I used a very handy plastic bar I found, which gives a very translucent feel to his lightsaber.

Pro Imperial Mandalorian ghost verd Star Wars custom figure 3.75 1:18

 A quick custom I did last year. Inspired by a custom of Ghost Verd I saw I think on facebook, I inspired it and adapted it, to make a pro-Imperial mandalorian, in the fashion of mandalorian clans and factions like they appear in Clone Wars/Rebels. I used a surplus obi wan. In Kenner fashion.
