Sloth (widest custom I've made!) (Darksider III) Custom Action Figure

This is the widest custom I've ever made :) , the incredible Sloth, one of the bosses of Darksiders III videogame. He ended up being almost 12x12x12 inches, as tall, wide and long more or less. He might be even considered he could be larger, but it was preposterous to try and ship anything bigger than this, and I think the custom figure proves the point of a giant bug :) . At first I wasn not very sure even how to tackle such a challenge, and then it dawned on me, using a flexible kid's ball as base. THen it was endless layers of molten plastic to do everything. I did use a Star Wars monster to have the limbs, as they were surprisingly similar, after dismissing other options such as using a giant Hopper from Pixar Bugs. Balder the Brave classic (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

One of the most flamboyant designs ever in the comic universe :) , imagination at it's peak. Was asked to do this, I had considered doing him many times before, but do to it's complexity never attempted it before :) . Hard to even discern what every part was, but in the end it was not so bad. I used an Iron Man, as at least gave me perfect hands, and yellow arms. Relok Hag (Green Lantern) Custom Action Figure

Here is Relok Hag, one of the most picturesque Green Lanterns. Had considered doing him for a very long time. Was actually quite difficult to find a base figure, was surprised to see there was hardly any centaurs to choose from! I finally chose Harry Potter Centaur, which didn't even know it existed before, but was surprisingly large. Finally I considered it was stil acceptable and would make him rather impressive. The Folded Man (Flash) Custom Action Figure

Yet another Flash villain, one very special and eye-catching :) . Totally underrated, somebody managing 2d,3d, and even 4d deserves my admiration :) , and a high place among Sci-Fi villains. I went for a rather traditional way, doing somewhat two figures, one in 2d and another in 3d (still rusty on managing 4 dimensions on a custom figure :lol: ). I went searching for the right plastic folder with the exact shade of blue, raising strange looks from shopkeepers as I needed to find the right colour, for it was very unadviceable to paint the blue, considering it would be very bendy. Then I cutted it carefully and painted the 2d with markers, so it was sort of a drawing comic job :) . Opponent MOTUC (Pre-Flogg) (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

 And there cannot be Battlebeard without his Opponent :) . Sadly lost to the sands of time his original name, the only one of his concepts that have been lost. Maybe one day it will emerge some document with a scribble, or maybe simply he never had one.

Clearly this concept evolved into Flogg, by the red colours and whip. Man is this version cooler than him! always thought Flogg was a bit on the corny side. Curiously, the second version of Flogg, Hook Em Flogg, has it's whip nearly identical! as if they tried to fix a bit the idea by going to the more original concept.

Anyway, nearly my favourite of the concepts. Curiously he sorts of have his suit pierced in several places, although himself is red like the suit or maybe a bit more orangey.

Future Flash (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure

 Here is the Future Flash! I believe the first superhero to use that name :) . Quite futuristic, this is the 90s version I believe. I used a ML figure as base, rock python, which works well as he should be quite muscular, yet slim enough to be an speedster. Flashes made out of clear plastic.

 Here is Plunder, another Flash enemy. Sort of hitman/bounty hunter. I used a Deadshot figure as fitted quite well. I used a wrestler jacket sanded down.

Bushmaster (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

Here is Bushmaster, another member of the Serpent Society :) . A classic on customizing, first time I have done it. Following a particular style, this is a sort of stylized version, as I believe the most typical is for him to be thicker and more muscular. Nautika (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

Here is my custom figure of Nautika, a Stormwatch character :) . Done in Marvel Legends Toybiz style. One of the many characters that were created in the 90s, a sort of Namora of the independent comics. Hermes DC (Flash) Custom Action Figure

And here is Hermes, the greek counterpart of Mercury :) . In the Flash comic were Mercury appears, Hermes is depicted nearly identical with just a rounded staff, which is quite lame in my opinion, hence I went for his classic appearance in the Wonder Woman comics, with his trademark winged helmet, and more small in proportions. I used a modern movie Namo with vision head, and vision feet. Again the most difficut part was creating the staff! Mercury DC (Flash) Custom Action Figure

Here is Mercury, the roman god of speed! he did a curious appearance in the Flash comics, and in that one he is based :) . DC used a bit the roman gods, which is always a interesting concept, while Marvel shunned their existance and just considered a variant name of the same being, Makkari just adding to confusion. Anyway, I chose a wrestler with a similar face, as he should be 7" in comparison with normal humans at 6 inches. Feet from the vision.
