War Machine Alien Armour (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

One of the most 90s things to ever have existed... War Machine in Alien Armour! I was blown away when I learnt this was a thing back on it's day. But it's not just 90s, it's so cool, and imaginative, too. Not sure of the storyline, but indeed it left a design to be remembered. One of my favourite customs this year. I recommend you google the original design because it's something from another world.

A true headache to replicate all of this in action figure form indeed.

 

Grim Ghost (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

An obscure custom, and I am used to make obscure custom, but this is certainly obscure. The Grim Ghost, of a short lived indie comics of the early 80s. A sort of dark superhero, before dark superheroes were a thing. Basically a concoction of dozens of MLs, mostly a Cyclops AoA.

 

Dr Fate (Khalid Nassour) (DC Multiverse) Custom Action Figure

 Here is the new Dr. Fate, an egyptian called Khalid Nassour. I've done the variant with sneakers :), which is always fun. I've got to recognize - this new design is certainly different. Looks more like an ancient iteration of Dr. Fate but still cool nevertheless.

Colossal Boy (DC Infinite Heroes) Custom Action Figure

Here is Colossal Boy, in regular size, to fit among 3.75 DC figures. I used a Captain America as had lots of similarities.I tried to get a very toyetic look for this custom. DC is losing big business by not making a line rival to Marvel Legends...

 

 

Ninjor v3 (Power Rangers) Custom Action Figure

 This is my third version of Ninjor, using an old ML figure as base, and casted head. Sword made from scratch.

Fear-O v2 (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

 This is my second version of Fear-O. I casted the head of my first one (as I happily have him in my collection still!) and more or less, same proceedings and recipe. Not much has changed in these last 15 odd years!

Firebreather Image Comics custom figure

Here is Firebreather, notorious Image supehero, who even had his own CGI movie! (and yes, I have seen it and it's poor!) made in his more cartoony, comicbook style. Had been saving a Spiderman nickelodeon base for forever and was glad of finding perfect use for it... a teenage superhero.  Here is the evil Darkonda! one of the most iconic Power Rangers villains of all time. A painstaking custom to do, his level of detail is ridiculous. A true challenge but happy of how turned out.

Revelation Marvel Legends custom figure Apocalypse X-Men mutant comic action

 Here is a very fresh custom, Revelation, the "successor" of Apocalypse! always refreshing to do something new of the comic book world. Painstakingly sculpted cowl, more complex part of this custom was his odd coat, fitting it was tough. Hope you all like it ;) .

Matt Trakker Ultraflash MASK (Mask) Custom Action Figure

Up here is another MASK custom :) , this time Matt Trakker in Ultraflash. Again the same difficulties sculpting the mask, and then casting it in elastic plastic. I used I think Ace base figure, with Matt Trakker 25th head sculpt. Gave him a few extra accesories.

 

Cliff Dagger (Mask) Custom Action Figure

 Here is another in my long line of MASK figures, in 3.75 scale, with GI JOe 25th bodies, and removable helmets. One of the most famous, or appearing in more episodes, Cliff Dagger. Originally thought using a Heavy Duty, but was really too muscular, and too tall, so I went for a Bull Taurus. Had to do his hat removable, to allow for the helmet.

Chef Gormandaa (Star Wars) Custom Action Figure

Here is Chef Gormandaa, a whacky and brief character that appeared in the famous Star Wars TV Special. This is a rather sad custom, as it got lost during transit :( , so now I will have to make another one. Shame on you postal service! first registered I lost since starting on 2008. Anyway, a very complex custom to do; multiple arms, a lot of drilling, making kitchen accesories for 1:18 scale, making the cooker... just about everything was complex. But I'll try to improve it next time!
