Here is a custom made in 2020. I was asked to do the 7th incarnation of the Crimson Dynamo, one that briefly appeared in early 2000s comics. A very good version of him, neoclassic, as many 2000 versions, were some of the best, albeit if usually neglected or coupled with poor plots. Anyway, after much consideration, I used a Warmachine body. THe most complicated part was all his tubes/reels, which were some glued painstakingly one by one, in other parts all sculpted from a piece. Then, for a best result, I painted with Tamiya clear read to get a metallic impression.
