Dr Fate (Khalid Nassour) (DC Multiverse) Custom Action Figure

 Here is the new Dr. Fate, an egyptian called Khalid Nassour. I've done the variant with sneakers :), which is always fun. I've got to recognize - this new design is certainly different. Looks more like an ancient iteration of Dr. Fate but still cool nevertheless.

Colossal Boy (DC Infinite Heroes) Custom Action Figure

Here is Colossal Boy, in regular size, to fit among 3.75 DC figures. I used a Captain America as had lots of similarities.I tried to get a very toyetic look for this custom. DC is losing big business by not making a line rival to Marvel Legends...

 

 

Lady Quark (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

 Here is Lady Quark, following the version of da man. A quirky DC character, I had sometimes seen her in encyclopedias and the like. Curiously not much customized in the Realm. A quite easy recipe, Katma Tui repainted and a head swap. Most difficult was keeping that yellow bright!

Tempest (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure

Here is Tempest, Aqualad when he went full superhero. I had a tough job trying to find the best head for him, in the end I went for a Legolas head, as was the most similar thing I had with the artworks I was basing on. I did the energy effects as a extra to make him more interesting.

Here it is Renee Montoya as The Question II. A rather shocking development of the DC Universe! done as in the Watchtower comic mini series, in Marvel Legends style. I had to scratch build her rifle, as I was unable to find one looking the same.

Lincoln March DC Comics Custom Action figure Marvel Legends Style batman enemy

Here is Lincoln March, a rather modern nemesis and "brother" of Batman. An interesting concept. I brought him to life in Marvel Legends style, using a very beefed up body. He has working sheaths.

Ashley Zolomon Flash DC Comics custom figure

Here is Ashley Zolomon, character appearing in the Flash, famous for having been the ex-wife of Dr. Zoom. Made as in her first appearances. Was hard to find images to depict her in this style, as only close ups could be found. Julie Jackam and Josh DC flash custom figure policewoman

And here is Julie Jackam, a ex-girlfriend of the Flash, and relevant to have had a children with the Weather Wizard that inherited his father's powers. Chose a ML base figure, and most difficult was sculpting completely from scratch the little baby, Josh, out of molten plastic.

 

 

Fred Chyre and Jared Morillo Flash DC custom action figures

 Here are Fred Chyre and Jared Morillo, a pair of police investigators who frequently appeared in the Flash Comics. Used a wrestler figure for Chyre that was hard to find, and the typical Everett Ross for Jared Morillo, with a power rangers head. 

The Candyman (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure

Here is the Candyman! a character that made some brief appearances in the Flash, one of those mob-leaders which very rarely makes it to action figure form. The fun in here is his candy-shaped baton. He was supposed to be very muscular, and wearing suit, the options were very limited. I saw Mr Fixit as a perfect base figure, and even if I had some difficulties finding it, I found one (albeit if he had two left legs, which wasn't supposed to when I bought it, and had to adjust that too!). Most complex was creating his candy stick. 

 

Brother Grimm (Flash) Custom Action Figure

Another Flash villain, this time one with quite a few appearances in the DC Universe. An interesting detailed design, gives me vibes of a Thor enemy. I thought about using Hobgoblin but was a bit overpriced so used a Dr Strange with a jackal head, which was just perfect. Did some inkings and added real chain and silver thread. I took some time to finish it looking for something stamped to do his armour, in the end a cooking mat was perfect. Most complex was getting right the inkings on the face, which is always tricky. Reminds me of a amalgam between Malekith and Hobgoblin lol.

Paradox DC (Flash) Custom Action Figure

Here is Paradox, not the Ben 10 character :) , but a one-issue villain of the Flash. Nevertheless he was a very cool character, time-manipulating villains have always been some of my favourites. I used a Patriot toybiz with wolverine head and dr. strange arms, plus iceman hands. Did his staff out of molten plastic.

Dark Flash (DC Multiverse) Custom Action Figure

Here is the Dark Flash! a cool version of the Flash I was asked to do. To get all the style and power, I chose a captain america ML, as this also allowed him to get in more extreme running poses. I tried painting some effects, to try and get the strange dark effect on his suit.
