Rung (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 Here is my second version of Rung, Asgardian foe of Seiya and his friends. A tricky custom to choose his base figure, because he stands about 8-9 inches tall, but doesn't have the typical Hulk body, he is still more or less just a enlarged figure. And to add this he needed to have the typical anime slender body, without too many muscle lines. After much debating I went with a Bandai Tygra, enlarging his legs. Sculpting everywhere as you might expect.

Frey (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 Here is my second version of Frey, first patriarch of Asgard in the Asgardian OVA of Saint Seiya. This time I went for a more plastic look, opposed to my first version which was almost all soft goods, to get a better effect. Just the cloak I just couldn't figure out how or where to find a similar one so that was made with textile.

I used arcade as he was a very good base, white and all.

Gothi Drbal (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 As far as I know, I am the first to customize him in his robed form. I did one before in armoured style, so refreshing to change the design. I was a bit lost as to which base figure to use, and after much considering I went with a LOTR, so I chose Elrond.

Ullr (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 Again, my second version, this time of Ullr. Was going to post my third Ullr without realizing I hadn't posted my second one! this was done in 2021. I did this in clean, my first version being a recustomized figure. Almost everything sculpted with epoxi. In this one, the cloak was removable.

Freya (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 Here is my second version of Freya, this time in rubber/plastic as opposed to textile fabric, more in Anime Heroes style. USed a Myth Cloth head and a dc superhero girl modified extensively, plus skirt from a LOTR figure.

Midgard EX Saint Seiya custom figure with totem

 

 

Here is Midgard, of Saint Seiya. I've done it in Myth Cloth and Anime Heroes style in the past, and here I did it on EX, hence larger and more complex. Had to sculpt everything, as I was just working with a bare body. It was a very long commission, as after a while the client asked me for a removable helmet, which was all sorts of complications, moreover needing to have a slightly clear mask and visor/beak. Cloak is real fur.

Also, it is the first time that I do from scratch a totem of an armour. Very complex to do, but I was very happy how it turned out.

Balder the Brave classic (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

One of the most flamboyant designs ever in the comic universe :) , imagination at it's peak. Was asked to do this, I had considered doing him many times before, but do to it's complexity never attempted it before :) . Hard to even discern what every part was, but in the end it was not so bad. I used an Iron Man, as at least gave me perfect hands, and yellow arms. The Warriors Three (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

Some of the most notorious Marvel characters without a proper release.. The Warriors Three! So, I had done before Hogun & Fandral, but never Volstagg.INspired by adi.batara's version. Most complicated was to do Volstagg, make work everything with his overweight was rather challenging. Done in very colouristic fashion, to very comic book like.
