Rung (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 Here is my second version of Rung, Asgardian foe of Seiya and his friends. A tricky custom to choose his base figure, because he stands about 8-9 inches tall, but doesn't have the typical Hulk body, he is still more or less just a enlarged figure. And to add this he needed to have the typical anime slender body, without too many muscle lines. After much debating I went with a Bandai Tygra, enlarging his legs. Sculpting everywhere as you might expect.

Frey (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 Here is my second version of Frey, first patriarch of Asgard in the Asgardian OVA of Saint Seiya. This time I went for a more plastic look, opposed to my first version which was almost all soft goods, to get a better effect. Just the cloak I just couldn't figure out how or where to find a similar one so that was made with textile.

I used arcade as he was a very good base, white and all.

Gothi Drbal (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 As far as I know, I am the first to customize him in his robed form. I did one before in armoured style, so refreshing to change the design. I was a bit lost as to which base figure to use, and after much considering I went with a LOTR, so I chose Elrond.

Ullr (Saint Seiya) Custom Action Figure

 Again, my second version, this time of Ullr. Was going to post my third Ullr without realizing I hadn't posted my second one! this was done in 2021. I did this in clean, my first version being a recustomized figure. Almost everything sculpted with epoxi. In this one, the cloak was removable.

Midgard EX Saint Seiya custom figure with totem

 

 

Here is Midgard, of Saint Seiya. I've done it in Myth Cloth and Anime Heroes style in the past, and here I did it on EX, hence larger and more complex. Had to sculpt everything, as I was just working with a bare body. It was a very long commission, as after a while the client asked me for a removable helmet, which was all sorts of complications, moreover needing to have a slightly clear mask and visor/beak. Cloak is real fur.

Also, it is the first time that I do from scratch a totem of an armour. Very complex to do, but I was very happy how it turned out.

Saint Seiya Myth Cloth custom figure Artemis goddess tenkai hen

 This is my second version of Artemis, this time with more real cloth and full sleeves. It's a huge improvement over my first one, but still is a very hard character to translate to action figure form.

I forgot to post this custom; the Goddess Eris (Elisa in spanish dub), main villain of one of the Saint Seiya OVAS. Erii Aizawa (Daisy) Saint Seiya Myth Cloth custom figure

 This is Erii/Daisy, main character in one of Saint Seiya's OVAS. I did her with a young poison ivy, and a myth cloth dress. I made the trident from scratch and chromed it to look more professional.

Belenguer Saint Seiya Myth Cloth Custom Figure coma berenice

This is Belenguer, another knight of the Zodiac appearing just in one movie (OVA). It has quite a different design from others. This in particular was very very complicated, as the real cloth toga had to be removable, as the character in the movie, and so removable armour pieces and belt had to be made. I wasn't very adroit at the time, and was stuck with it trying to get it right for days.

Eligor Mantis v2 Saint Seiya OVA Custom Myth Cloth figure

This is my second version of Eligor Mantis, here I tried to be more loyal to the OVA, painting him silver, and his nails dark green. An all sculpt all around, the only reused thing was the hands and feet.

Lucifer Myth Cloth OVA Saint Seiya custom figure Warriors of the Final Holy Battle (1989)

This is the main villain of the OVA Warriors of the Final holy Battle of Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac. A baffling and weird design, which at least can brand itself as being different and unique from the usual. More like a japanese demon if you ask me, anyway. Made with a dark G1 Saint Seiya body, cloak cut out of a sporting bag, wings of molten plastic, head of Hypnos bootleg.
