Frightzor (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

 Behold, the living embodiment of the Fright Zone! based on a fanart by Bootleg I believe, I think this fanart came to be after all the hype of Castle Grayskullman. Anyway, a interesting concept, I think works better as a figure than a playset!.

This one was a complicated fellow to make. Lots of molten plastic and sculpting were needed. I tried to make him slightly larger than a MOTUC, to make it look more impressive.

Turman Masters of the Universe Classics Custom figure MOTUC

This is Turman, made it last summer, based on a design by accustom. Sort of Gamera/Slash/Koopa in MOTUC character. Quite complicated to replicate without the original parts, but managed to come out quite well. For me it looks more like an evil Snakemen cousin!

Grenador MOTUC Skysurfer Strike Force Masters of the Universe Classics custom figure

This is Grenador ,oneThis is Grenador, one of my favourite customs. A character from a 90s cartoon, SkySurfers, I thought he would be very cool in a MOTUC body,as his concept is very like Blast Attack, exploding and recomposing himself. Made over a Rotar MOTUC figure.

 

Compactor Evil Version MOTU Masters of the Universe Classics custom figure

 After doing a Compactor custom for sale, I thought I would do one for my own personal collection :) . After much examining the original artwork, it seemed more like to me, he was a evil master, with his face degraded, instead of a heroic masters. Anyway, this is how I envisioned him, with darker colours, and a real hand to be able to grip on things, plus an automatic weapon that can be fitted on his arm.

This is Warduke, in cartoon version. I was asked to do him, but in bright cartoon colours and being as playable as a regular figure, so I sculpted everything with molten plastic to avoid breakage and paint rub.

Tygra Thundercats Classics MOTUC Masters of the Universe custom figure

 I was asked to do a very specific custom of Tygra, in which my client personalized every bit of the designed. After a lenghthy description and image exchange, thus was born this Tygra, much more seriously looking, to escape any "clownesque" feeling of the original, yet staying true to the recognizable schemes.

I must say that I was impressed with how good he looked, thinking before it would look somewhat discoordinated, using a head from there and paint scheme from another image, plus bits from yet other versions. But I think it ended up being one of my best customs of 2019.

I used a Hydron base figure to avoid paint rub, heavily modified with sculpting Conan's head, Zodacs hand, Skeletor's 200X feet. It looked so good, that if I want to make a definitive Tygra for my collection, I will have it very much in mind!

 This my Cheetara MOTUC. Using an Adora's base, as a usual choice, this was mainly a repaint with some sanding. In her classic cartoon colours, a bit more serious as to fit the MOTUC collection.
