False Face MOTUC (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

Here is my custom of False Face MOTUC. Made as in the fanart artwork MOTUC visions I think, a very good reinterpretation. Hence I gave him 4 different swappable heads, and custom crossbow. Made using mainly dragstor body, with zodac boots. As bonus I made candle imp :) .

Prince Zed (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

Here is Prince Zed, believe it or not, son of Horde Prime and theoretical nephew of Hordak :) . At least according to She-ra's cartoon. I have tried to capture all the essence of the Filmation design. I used a Nightcrawler figure of Toybiz to get a sort of teenager height figure compatible with MOTUCs. King Micah (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

 Here is King Micah, father of Glimmer in the princess of power series. A recurring character, and a perfect candidate for a MOTUC custom figure :) . Done on order for a good client. Most complex was getting the arms right, as they were very tight and produced paint rub.

Baron Condore (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

 And here is another very obscure MOTU character, Baron Condore, appearing in She-Ra's cartoon. Challenging again, due to it's size and looks.

After careful examination, I thought a Hulk wouldn't pass the cut, so I used another Marvel body. Armour made out of foamy.

Inspector Darkney (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

 I have found a bit of time to share my latest customs ;) . This is Inspector Darkney, an obscure character appearing in She-Ra cartoon. A sort of inspector of Horde Prime, something very horde-esque :) .

I tried to get the best base figure, it was rather challenging as it needed to be MOTUC sized, but slim and skinny. I am very happy how he turned out, as it was a difficult custom to make look like the original.

Colonel Blast (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

Here is Colonel Blast, a classic in the custom world, but the first time I have attempted it :) . I was given the choice of doing him Filmation style or modernized Classics, and I went for a middle point, trying to get the best features of both. Lasers are mainly from a watering set :) . Made to be removable with some molten plastic. Head from a wrestler ,logo from Dragstor modified.

Melog (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

Here is Melog, a character that appeared in one episode of She-Ra :). But a interesting and memorable character nevertheless. A sort of magical mud golem created by Shadow Weaver. I made her a wooden-clay spear, so as to give some kind of accesory.

Red Knight Filmation MOTUC (Masters of the Universe) Custom Action Figure

 My latest custom made to have been happily received :) . The famous Red Knight from Filmation, this time in MOTUC form! I had made one in the past, for my personal collection, following Gbagok style.

This one is fully in MOTUC style, being true to the Filmation design. Mindboggling how Mattel skipped him and made Nepthu instead! if I remember well, Red Knight appeared in about 3 episodes, his mystery still going on.

This time I made his shield, although he rarely used it. Basically a Dragstor with other bits and pieces. Most complex were his shoulder pads, to make them solid while he could still achieve dynamic poses.

Admiral Scurvy MOTUC Custom action figure Filmation Motu He-Man She-ra Evil horde

Here is a recent custom, Admiral Scurvy :) , latest finished & received custom. A not so known Filmation character, enemy of She-Ra and member of the evil horde. A interesting and refreshing subject. To achieve his slim looks, we used a Mattel wrestler, that gives him height but keeps him from being a powerhouse. Made with all extras, as in the popular MOTUC visions fanarts that go round the net.

Netossa She-Ra Masters of the Universe 200x custom figure

And here, Netossa :) . I kept forever a Evil Lyn body to start making She-Ra styled character, and when a few mini Bratz heads fell into my hands, I knew I'd be using them. After many years I managed to make them, and after a few more, picture them and post them :) . As with Castaspella, inspired by Gbagok's great fanarts, with some modifications to suit to my available parts and pieces. I will probably be redoing her net, as doesn't fully convince me.

 

Castaspella Masters of the Universe 200x MYP Custom Figure She-Ra

Here I am finishing to post all our MOTU customs. This is Castaspella 200x style, such a shame the 200x never reached She-Ra characters. Thanks to Gbagok impression, I made my Castaspella version. I used some mini Bratz heads, which are simply wonderful to do the job. In the end, instead of slightly Hindi inspired it looked a bit Viking or tribal looking.
