Spiderbatman Marvel Legends Custom Action Figure

I take opportunity of my summer break/holidays to start sharing some of the customs I've made lately and haven't had the time to post.

Starting with Spiderbatman. I was asked to do this character, quite bizarre. I don't from where it spawned, is Amalgam like but obviously not canonic. Anyway, rather fun custom to do. Made over a Bullseye as was explicitly asked to do. Most complicated was painting the lines. The batlogo was hand painted and quite easy to do. Hope you enjoy.

Sanstorm Spiderman villain Marvel Legends custom figure

This is Sandstorm, a 90s Spiderman villain. I saw his trading card, and as I made not long ago Sandman, I thought of using the same technique of a sand cone, but this time fixed to the figure.

Ruthless Aggression figure
Storm hair
Deluxe Aggression head

Blister clear plastic, with glue and real sand

Blood Rose Marvel Legends custom figure Rose Kingpin Spiderman

Here is Blood Rose, the evolution of the Rose (Kingpin's son), during a nineties Punisher sort of phase he passed. A more interesting way of making the Rose.

DCUC Samurai body, Vigilante head, random weapons, and GI Joe munition band.

Sandman Classic Marvel Legends Custom figure

Here it is my version of Classic Sandman, as the Spiderman Classics figure isn't good enough.

I have used a Wrestling deluxe figure (Batista), used 4 accesories of a movie Sandman figure, enlarged them, and made a extra hand out of scratch. The sand base is a cone of blister plastic with glued sand from across the park. Hope you enjoy it.

Alex Grimond (The Foreigner, Silver Sable, Spiderman) Marvel Legends custom

Here it is Alex Grimond, that appeared in Marvel Presents trying to assasinate the Foreigner. His 90 techno-style a bit GI Joe-like made me think it will make a good custom figure.

Base figure; unknown DCUC and Alan Scott sculpted head.

It could be yours! (click on here to see it on eBay)

KOMODO Marvel Legends custom The Initiative

Here is Komodo (Melati Kusuma), in his Initiative suit, slightly modified to fit the pieces I wanted to use. A interesting character, that I decided to make when I received in a lot a Lizard from a new Spiderman series. I took from him his tail, hands and feet to fit them to a Mystique body. I used a modified X-23 head, and then tons of sculpting, as can be seen in the WIP pic. Finally, I painted her with Vallejo colours and with a coat of Clear orange of Tamiya.

Masked Marauder Marvel Legends custom

Here is the Masked Marauder, the boss of a criminal gang that confronted Daredevil and Spiderman (Spiderman ends up blind during some days by a ray of Masked Marauder's helmet). A interesting character I had the occasion to read his appearances in the Spiderman comics.

Longshot base figure, Scarlet Witch cloak, GI Joe weapon, 100 % sculpted head.

Morbius Marvel Icons custom 12 inch

Yet another 12 inch Spiderman villain, Morbius! I have used the Triple H head with the Elijah Burke body. I had to sculpt new open hands as I ran out of them... and just yesterday found one in one of my infinite fodder boxes! the main work was in sculpting and carefully painting the face.

Spider Slayer Mk XII Marvel Legends custom

Here is the Spider Slayer Mk 12, imho the best mark of the Spider Slayers. I used a TNA figure (I don't recommend it at all, it is an awful figure to work on) with lots of sculpting and added parts, Pyro tubes, gun end from a ROC GI Joe bazooka, and a WWE deluxe hand.

Intello Mad Thinker Marvel Legends custom

Here is Intello, a robot created by the Mad Thinker to defeat Spiderman (how original!). With this custom I tried to represent his gold colour with a series of yellow and orange variatons to get a cartoony effect.

Base figure; Batista and skirt of some LOTR figure.

GRAVITON Marvel Legends Custom Figure

Here is Graviton, a character it never took my attention until I saw the first episode of the new Avengers animated series. I like everything of the new rendition; the look, the argument, the personality, and his insane level of power. I adapted it to a Mongul body and used a Gandalf head that I thought I would never be using.

Base figure; Mongul, Gandalf head, a modified Wrestling hand, foam and sculpting here and there.

Now on Ebay.
