Hannu sound version (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure

This is my own version of Hannu, for a change, this custom was done for my own collection. I used a sound stomping Thing, and I kept it's sound as it was cool. I did it darker than usual, more greenish to make it more different.

Green Man DC Direct custom figure Green lantern

Here is Green Man, a custom I did for my collection many years ago :) , but just made photos of him this year. Some time ago I was asked to do a Green Man, and liked so much the idea I did one for myself :) . I chose a DC Direct body, as he looked bulky and very right for him.

Heatwave (DC Multiverse) Custom Action Figure

Here is Heatwave, famous enemy of the Flash. A character that just recently got an action figure, but very far off his usual looks. I was asked to do this custom, but the man had unexpected financial troubles on the way, so the custom got stalled and just recently I finished it to auction it. I used a modern ML buck that was halfway to become a White tiger custom, and used a Dr.Midnite head, weapon based on MOTUC Zodac modified. On eBay now; https://www.ebay.com/itm/175284365843?mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&mkcid=1&campid=10001&toolid=5336713070&customid=112986&mkevt=1

Murmur (DC Multiverse) Custom Action Figure

Here is Murmur, another enemy of the Flash. Another character with quite a few appearances still without proper figure in this world, and there are fewer left every day! just a Heroclix figure to represent it, usual indication that a character is rather important but has been overlooked. This one needed serious engineering; I wanted to do it quickly, so I came by with what I had; a black suit Spiderman body, Black cat's arms,X-23 feet. I was doubting how to do his arm bandages for a very long time, in the end I went for some poly-textile well wrapped, that allows movement while looking good. On eBay now;https://www.ebay.com/itm/175284365835?mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&mkcid=1&campid=10001&toolid=5336713070&customid=112987&mkevt=1

Volk (Green Lantern) Custom Action Figure

Here is Volk, the volcano lantern! following one of his depictions, where he is shown as having a huge erupting round head! it was tough to decide which base figure, I finally went for a ToyBiz Hulk. I sprayed him with textured granite spray, to give sensation of rock, and then painted on top.

Meadlux Green Lantern DC Universe Classics Custom Figure

This is Meadlux, a very sinister member of the Green Lanterns. A easy custom, I used a Lex Luthor casted head, and molten green plastic as energy constructs.

K'ryssma Green Lantern DC Classics custom figure

Here it is the custom of K'ryssma, Green Lantern corps member. An obscure character not seen very much. I used a Psylocke body, with Storm head, and hair sculpted with rubber compound.

Turytt Green Lantern DC Custom Action figure

This is Turytt, the Doomsdayesque Green Lantern of sector 786. A curious character to make. At the start I thought about doing him over a MOTUC body, but in the end I thought it would look too short and shabby, so I went for a wrestling deluxe body with Mongul's head. Sculpted bone protuberances, logo and hair, and energy construct out of molten plastic. Sorry for the pictures, I took them with my mobile phone messing around with the settings and I am afraid they are rather too bright.

Batgirloid DC Direct Custom Figure

This is my first custom of 2019. Sort of a kitbash, really. I got this Batgirl without leg nor hair, and it struc me I could make a cool cyborg version of her.

History; After being gravely injured, Batman activates his "android" plan to save Batgirl. Having learned from the process that transformed Vic into Cyborg from the Justice League, so is born Batgirloid, half machine, half avenging superhero!

Hope you like it. I used a Jade leg, and she features a removable extra robotic hair. God knows where the batarang came, it was just there at the right moment.

The name is not very definitive, I was doubting between IABat, Robobatress, and many more.

Indigo Atom DC Universe Classics DCUC custom figure

Here it is Indigo Atom, when I first saw the figure I had mixed feelings about it, cool in a way, but very wonky in another. Specially mine, because it had the face and logo poorly painted.

So I researched a bit on the net to see the what improvements could be made, and I decided to do the following;

-Cleared his forehead and added a metal piece with the Indigo lanterns logo
-Added a bit of hair to him a more savage look
-Painted the mask in "Batman style" with white eyes
-Changed the dark blue to metallic bright blue
-Painted the neck blue as the prototype and the comic

Hal Jordan as Orange Lantern DC Classics custom

Hi to all, here is Hal Jordan Orange Lantern in DCUC style. If you didn't know, I will tell you that this figure only exists in DC Direct at a exhorbitant price (as it was a very limited edition) so I thought "why not make a better version with a DC Classics?".

It has been from a Hal Jordan figure, with the DC Direct Orange Lantern head casted, sculpted boots, armbands and orange ring, and given a JLU Stewart lantern. The painting was the most tricky thing to do; I carefully painted with matt black and I painted first with normal orange vallejo (that was a good colour, but it wasn't metallic and it really wasn't the same) and then a coat of metallized orange. For the logo as usual, a repro one made with my printer.

Now on eBay.
