Jolt (G.I. Joe) Custom Action Figure

Here is Jolt, specialist in electronic warfare. With a very ARAH GI Joe style, possibly my favourite of the unproduced figures. It was quite complicated to sculpt all the thunders in him, and to do the removable helmet. Sewer Rat (COPS n' Crooks) Custom Action Figure

Here is the last (for now) of the COPS n Crooks unproduced customs I made. One of the coolest, this is Sewer Rat, specialist in underground burglaring! He seems to be screaming "Cobra!" all around. The client who asked me for it wanted a black african head for him, although I think the original was going to be white (maybe in the cartoon he was going to be black, they did some major changes to the aspect from toy to series, I don't know). I used a small hulk head engineered to make it. The tunneling machine is a Cars car heavily modified. Most difficult was making the head, but it still turned out quite well and quick. Ramey Holl (DC Universe) Custom Action Figure

This is Ramey Holl, another of the myriad of Green Lanterns there is out there. She's had some more appearances than others, and is a bit more colourful. Wings are from a MOTUC figure I think.

Winter (Image) Custom Action Figure

Another of my latest customs, Winter, from Stormwatch. I must have done now a large part of the roster :) . Was unsure of which base figure to use, as he looked slightly more muscular than your average ML, yet not so much as to justify a Sentry or a wrestler. In the end I went for a serious mix-match, with mainly Angel Toybiz, pieces from Longshot, Magneto's head, Octopus gloves, and possibly something else. Quite happy how it turned out. Here another member of the Zodiac, Leo. I always thought a curious super villain, looks like out of a costume party :lol: . Inspired by glennwebmans version. I looked and thought the Jackal was just perfect for the job, hence it was sacrificed to the custom gods :lol: . Titanium Man Classic (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

And there can't be a Crimson Dynamo without a Titanium Man! was asked to do him in 2020, before the new Marvel Select came out. It was challenging, as he was big, but not huge, and it is complicated to find bulky, yet not hulkoid base figures of these right inches. After much consideration, I went just for a Buzzing beetle, with modified limbs. Most complicated was getting the lower leg to work, creating from scratch boots and feet, and making everything work. Crimson Dynamo VII (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

 

Here is a custom made in 2020. I was asked to do the 7th incarnation of the Crimson Dynamo, one that briefly appeared in early 2000s comics. A very good version of him, neoclassic, as many 2000 versions, were some of the best, albeit if usually neglected or coupled with poor plots. Anyway, after much consideration, I used a Warmachine body. THe most complicated part was all his tubes/reels, which were some glued painstakingly one by one, in other parts all sculpted from a piece. Then, for a best result, I painted with Tamiya clear read to get a metallic impression. The Warriors Three (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

Some of the most notorious Marvel characters without a proper release.. The Warriors Three! So, I had done before Hogun & Fandral, but never Volstagg.INspired by adi.batara's version. Most complicated was to do Volstagg, make work everything with his overweight was rather challenging. Done in very colouristic fashion, to very comic book like. Super Adaptoid 12 inch (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure

Behold the might of the modern Super Adaptoid! I was asked to do him, in 8 or 9 inches, but found easier to make him in 12, and so here it is. I followed Jinsaotome's version, with some inspiration of the Avengers cartoon. I used a large Titan series captain america shield, and a Halo 12 inch figure, which was already green and so very suitable. Wings are made of plastic bottles cutted out. The star in the middle is, believe it or not, a true 925 sterling silver earring! Kruge (Star Trek) Custom Action Figure

Here is Kruge, important Klingon commander who appeared in one of the movies. He was going to be released, but was cancelled, and hence a good Star Trek collector asked me to do him. Using the Worf base body, and some accesories of another Worf, I carefully sculpted his head and his slight differences. Most complex was painting his face, to be realistic as the real life movie. I was impressed by the size of the Diamond Select Star trek figures, they are huge!

Garcia Hotspur (Shadow) Custom Action Figure

Here is Garcia Hotspur, main character of the videogame Shadows of the Damned. Done in 7" height, by which I used a Ghost Rider Toybiz, and enlarged his limbs, so he looked the part (he is quite big, but had short legs). Done with all details, rings, pouches, scars, etc. Most complex was his facial paint, as to look ok, he needed a lot of realism.
